Evangelistic Outreach Department
Director, Elder Edmund Rhynes
The New Community Evangelistic Outreach Department is an integral part of the church ministry. The ministry is being transformed by the power of God and willing vessels. This year God is leading the ministry to higher heights and deeper depths by adding to what has already been established.
Mission Scripture: St Luke 14:23 And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Our charge is to go out and minister life to those that may have an ear to hear the call to salvation—-in that God’s hours shall be filled.
The Evangelistic Outreach Department is comprised of three core auxiliaries. They are Evangelistic Outreach, In reach/ Outreach Programs, and Missions.
In Reach/ Outreach Programs
Director, Missionary Monica Prince
Mission Scripture: Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
Our mission is an extension of our mission scripture basis, taken from Jeremiah 31:3”……..with lovingkindness have I draw thee.” It is to demonstrate the love of Christ by demonstrating lovingkindness to each visitor and the members of this “New Community”.
- To assist Pastor Hunt with staying in touch with the membership.
- To visit and contact the sick and the shut in.
- To plan and organize a quarterly fellowship for the “Seasoned Saints” (60 and older)
- To reach out to each visitor and extend the love of Christ after their visit.
